The Kindle Unlimited Paranormal Cozy Mystery ecosystem goes deep. Most authors have more than one series and many of those have crossovers that reference characters or settings from other books. I found that neither Amazon nor Goodreads was providing me with all of the information I wanted to know when deciding what book to read next and I was spending way too much time keeping track of where I was within each series so I created this spreadsheet. As a rule of thumb, I find that if I read books in the order the author published them crossover events happen in order. I also like to be able to check off what books I’ve already read and keep track of what books are releasing in the future.
All of the books on this spreadsheet are in the Kindle Unlimited paranormal cozy mysteries or are somehow connected (for example, used to be KU because some authors rotate their books in and out or other books in the series or by the author are in KU, are paranormal, or are cozy mysteries.)
The first page of the spreadsheet includes instructions for how to make a copy and input your own reading history and then use a preset “TBR” filter view to see which books you haven’t read yet in a recommended reading order.
This spreadsheet is in no way meant to be complete or comprehensive, it’s my personal ongoing “TBR” (to be read) list organized in a way that I thought might be useful for other people to use as well.

I originally discovered this slice of Kindle Unlimited via a Facebook ad for Gina LaManna’s Magic & Mixology series that I saw in 2016. That was shortly followed by a Facebook ad for Amy Boyles’ Bless Your Witch series. From there, I used Amazon’s built in recommendations within Kindle Unlimited to chain into books by Amanda M. Lee, Annabel Chase, April Fernsby, Bella Falls, Danielle Garrett, Leighann Dobbs, and Natalie Summers. I’ve been reading about 80 books per year since then so I really feel like I’m getting value for my money from Kindle Unlimited. I also like that when I pay by the month instead of by the book, I don’t feel pressured to finish reading books that I’m not enjoying.
